Positano On the Gulf is a luxury beachfront condominium in Longboat Key that was named after an iconic village on Italy's Amalfi coast to drum up the residential enclave’s high-end character. Michigan-based Corvus International developed this property, the developer’s first outside of its home base, on a 10-acre site on the block of 4975‒4995 Gulf of Mexico Drive formerly occupied by Longboat Key Holiday Inn.

Positano’s development started in 2003, and its five mid-rise buildings were fully completed in 2007. Mediterranean inspired in their designs, these structures were built five stories high and were laid out in a C-fashion with the open end facing the exquisite vistas of the Gulf of Mexico.
