The Beaches of Longboat Key is one of several high-rise condominiums lording over the gulf front of the gated The Resort at Longboat Key Club. Located at 775 Longboat Club Road, this property was developed in 1984 by a Dutch pension fund as part of what was supposed to be a four-building community. Only one was constructed, however, and the rest of the parcel toward the north was sold.
