The best is served for last, the wiser of folks would say, and this could rightfully be said of Grand Bay, the finale in the property developments of Arvida Corp. on Longboat Key.

Grand Bay was developed in 1994‒1999 on a waterfront site of nearly 24 acres on Bishop’s Point.  This Arvida swan song completed the 22 neighborhoods of the Bay Isles community woven within the gated bayfront perimeter of Longboat Key Club‒Harbourside.
